Cavity Wall Insulation Scam

Relay of Message sent by John Slade (Dorset Police, Police Volunteer 4261, Poole )

November 6th 2014. This is a cavity wall insulation scam message.

In the last few weeks persons alleging to be from Poole Borough Council wanting to know if you would like Cavity Wall Insulation installed. They will provide some sort of ID at the door or they may have a florescent jacket on as well.

Do not be taken in by these callers, close your door, and ring Poole Borough Council, and check with them that they are genuine or bogus.
Trading Standards are aware that this scam is going on.
