Bonfire Night

Post  Admin on Wed Nov 05, 2014 8:14 am

It is usually safer to go to an organised display on bonfire night, but if you do decide to throw your own fireworks party, please bear in mind the following advice.

  • Keep children away from fireworks and lit bonfires. Never leave bonfires unattended.
  • When using sparklers, always wear gloves and hold the sparkler at arms length. Supervise children at all times. Sparklers are not suitable for children under 5.
  • Remember, sparklers stay hot long after they have gone out – don’t touch the lit end once it has gone out.
  • Never go back to a firework once it has been lit.
